Tax Credit for the Development of e-business (TCEB)
In order to be eligible to the TCEB tax credit, you must meet the following conditions :
+ You own a business that operates in the computer information technology (CIT) field and the software solutions that your company develop/implement increase the sales revenue of your clients.
+ The IT activities of your business must carry at least 75% of your total revenue;
+ The human capital of your business must consist of at least 6 technicians.

The Tax credit for the Development of e-business is a financial aid available to specialized firms in the province of Québec that operate in the development of information technologies.
In order to be eligible for this financial assistance, the company must be established in Québec and operate under the provincial or federal laws. If it’s registered in another province, the company must have offices in Québec.
Moreover, the employees must allocate 75% of their time to work on eligible tasks in order to be certified by Investissement Québec.
The consulting service must be tied to the improvement of the e-business process through technology, and more specifically the development, the integration, the maintenance or the evolution of information technology systems or technological infrastructure projects.
The company must be able to contribute to the development, the integration, and incidentally, to the maintenance and evolution of information technology systems or technological infrastructure projects.
The conception or development of e-business solutions in exchange of a monetary remuneration, which allows to conceive or develop solutions for a person and their clientele, under the conditions that the activity is eligible to the development or the integration of information technology systems or technological infrastructure projects.
The development of services related to security and identification.
Obtain a refundable 24% tax credit to cover the cost of the salary of an eligible employee
up to a maximum of 20 000$*
as well as a non-refundable 6% tax credit to cover the cost of the salary of an eligible employee
up to a maximum of 5 000$*.
*The tax credit will be calculated as per the cost of the eligible salaries within your firm.
